Semi-Formal/Coastal Chic.
Think tailored suits, sport coats, cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy separates.
The Vibe: Jekyll Island Club Resort is historic Gilded Age charm under Spanish moss—polished and timeless, but never stiff.
The Weather: Mid-March on the Georgia coast usually brings daytime highs in the low 70s and breezy evening lows around the mid-50s. A light jacket, wrap, or shawl for after the sun goes down is highly recommended.
Footwear Advisory: The ceremony is held outdoors on historic riverfront lawns. Stilettos will sink directly into the turf—block heels, wedges, or dressy flats will treat you much better.

Sorry to be way harsh, Tai, but if their name isn't on your invitation, they aren't invited. We still love them, but capacity’s a bitch.

Jekyll Island is a protected state park (SAVE THE TURTLES!!). Every vehicle entering the island must purchase an entry toll/parking pass at the causeway guest booth (or online in advance). It’s about $10/day.
-
If you're staying on-property at the Jekyll Island Club Resort, almost everything on the historic grounds is walkable or accessible via golf carts and bicycles. If you plan to explore the entire island (like Driftwood Beach or the Georgia Sea Turtle Center) or are flying into JAX/SAV, renting a car or booking airport transit ahead of time is recommended, as on-island Ubers/Lyfts can be limited.
-
Rent a Beach Cruiser: Grab a bike at the resort and ride the 20+ miles of paved, tree-shaded trails around the island.
Driftwood Beach: Head to the north end to wander the iconic, weathered trees right on the sand (best at low tide).
Drinks at The Wharf: The open-air pier bar right on property for draft beers, peel-and-eat shrimp, and river views.
Historic Cottage Stroll: Walk right outside the Club to explore the Gilded Age mansions and moss-draped live oaks.
Georgia Sea Turtle Center: Georgia’s turtle rehab hospital and rescue, located a two-minute walk from the resort.
Lawn Croquet: Pick up mallets from the front desk and play on the historic club grounds.
Jekyll Island Golf: 63 coastal holes across maritime forests and dunes, including the historic 9-hole Great Dunes track.
Veranda Rocking Chairs: Grab an iced drink, claim a porch rocker overlooking the river, and do absolutely nothing.
